We acquire Swedish companies from entrepreneurs who want a partner for the next chapter.
Formverk acquires entrepreneur-led companies and continues the journey alongside the people behind them. We buy a majority or the entire company, contribute capital, time, and operational experience, and pass the company on to its next owner together in 4–7 years.
We are operators, not asset managers.
Joel has built and run consumer businesses for over a decade. When we acquire a company, we step in and contribute actively.
We take time to get to know the business.
We make no major changes in the first six months. We listen, learn, and build trust before we together make any operational decisions of consequence.
We build for the next chapter.
Our job is to develop the company until it is ready for its next chapter under a larger owner.
- Revenue Swedish limited companies with SEK 30–200M
- Profit SEK 5–30M EBITDA
- Track record Profitable for the past three years
- Industry Specialist companies in manufacturing, distribution, and consumer-adjacent sectors
- Ownership Entrepreneur-owned — we rarely buy from other financial owners
Joel has sat on the seller’s side of the table.
Formverk was founded by Joel Falck. Joel was a co-founder of KitchenTime, which grew to over SEK 300 million in revenue before being sold to Bergendahls. He then served as turnaround CEO of Babyshop, board chair at Planora, and an advisor and consultant in digital business.
Behind Formverk also stands a group of well-capitalised, industrially experienced investors who contribute experience, capital, and networks.
I have sat on the seller’s side of the table myself. Handing over a company you have built is a big decision. That is why I founded Formverk — to be the buyer I would have wanted to meet myself.More about Joel →
